Chalky, faded gelcoat brought back with compound and polish, then protected.

Oxidation is what happens when sun breaks down the top layer of gelcoat. It turns dull and chalky, and if you rub a finger across it, white residue comes off.
Covering it with wax only hides it for a moment. Letta lifts the oxidized layer with compound, refines it with polish, and then seals it so the gloss you see is real.

FAQ
Questions about polish
UV from the sun slowly breaks down the gelcoat's top layer, and heat and salt air speed it up. The surface turns porous and chalky. RVs parked outdoors year-round in Florida usually show it first on the side that faces the sun.
Most oxidation can be greatly improved in one visit, depending on how deep it goes and the size of the rig. Very heavy cases may need extra time. A test spot at the start shows you what to expect before the full job.
Decals and graphics are worked around carefully, with lighter products and gentle pressure near edges. Older decals that are already cracking can be fragile, so Letta will point those out before starting.
Keep a layer of protection on it. Regular washing plus wax or sealant every few months, or a ceramic coating, slows the sun's damage. Shade or a breathable cover when stored also helps a lot.
